I understand that the recent recall applies to models with the 6.2L engine; however, I’ve been experiencing very similar problems that have resulted in significant out-of-pocket repair costs. I previously brought my vehicle in to a certified GMC service center for an unrelated issue and was extremely satisfied with the service and professionalism I received. Unfortunately, the engine-related problems have continued to persist, and the financial burden of addressing them has been challenging. Given the similarities between the issues affecting my vehicle and those described in the current recall, I respectfully ask if there is any possibility that GMC could assist with a reimbursement or offer support for the repair costs I’ve incurred. I have retained all documentation and receipts and would be happy to provide them upon request. Thank you for your time and consideration. Anthony in finance is awesome. He explained everything clearly and he was a straight shooter. I have encountered a few finance managers before that were somewhat dishonest but Anthony was great. Also, Michelle was great - she was my first contact. Finally, I appreciate the manager Richard for knocking a few bucks off the sticker price for me. Since I bought my truck it has had nothing but problem after problem . I am somewhat torn though because I know Commonwealth Motors just bought a truck from Chevy and then just sold the truck to me . I am giving you a 4 today though because for the first time with this new transmission issue I dealt with Josh head of Chevy Service and Rich head of Chevy sales and felt they have done everything they could to make my frustration go away at least for a short time . I have purchased multiply vehicle's from Commonwealth and because of Josh and Rich I will continue to do so even with this 1 rough experience with my last truck purchase .

As always, I was greeted quickly and warmly upon entering the service drive-up. After confirming the services to be completed, I was asked if I would also like my car washed (yes, please!). The customer waiting area is clean. WiFi and coffee are available and appreciated. I was able to get work done during my visit. Text messages alerting me to both the progress and completion of work on my vehicle were helpful. I left Commonwealth Chevy in a sparkling car, with a new inspection sticker, fresh oil, and newly rotated tires. Even better, everyone with whom I spoke at the dealership was pleasant and help. I have had the car - which I love - for three years now. Every visit to Commonwealth has been as good as this one. That’s an impressive track record, and I am grateful. Thank you!

We brought our 2020 Equinox in for an emergency engine problem. At first the service advisor told us it may take a week for a service tech to be able to look at our car, so we left it and got a rental. Three days later we got a call from the service advisor, and he told us the car was all set for us to pick up! Plus, the cost was non-significant as they told us it was a minor problem where a clamp broke off and a vacuum hose was disconnected. We were impressed with their honesty!

Finding the Chevrolet area of Commonwealth was difficult, so I went to Honda. Jeffrey was most polite in checking the stock # I presented, and we drove to the Chevy area whereupon I took a test drive. When I decided to make the purchase, he arranged for me to pick up the vehicle that afternoon. Poe at Chevy gave me the car tour, set up my phone, and showed me the various options. I am very happy with the vehicle, have a lot more to learn (!), and am happily doing that! The process was pretty smooth. I did accept the additional warranty/insurance policy, but I will be returning that with the $50 payment, per the contract. But Anthony was not heavy-handed about it; I simply didn't stick to my preference after awhile. All in all a very good experience.

You changed my oil and rotated my tires fine. I was not happy with the recommendation you provided me. I was told my rear struts were blown. The boot on front axle was leaking.The head on the timing cover was leaking. The cost for these repairs was about $3400. I took it to another service company and they said these things were fine.This It's not the first time this has happened to Commonwealth. I previously brought my wife car for an oil change and they said I need to change the cabin filter in the air filter and the two they showed me were definitely enough of my wife's car because I changed them myself and they were nowhere near as bad as the ones I was shown. for these reasons, I don't think I'll be going back to Commonwealth.

The Chevrolet Service Department is outstanding. I had a slow air leak in one of my vehicle's tire, and stopped by without an appointment. They took my vehicle, inspected the leaky tire issue, and fixed the issue. I waited approximately 45 minutes, my tire was repaired, and I no longer have to worry about a slow airport leak. This is one reasons why I always bring my vehicle to Commonwealth Chevrolet for quality service.

I've been going to Commonwealth Chevy for their service department for over 5 years. I have never felt so taken care of, even by specialty shops. The Shop manager, shop foreman, the shop techs are all top notch. I am never oversold, always completely informed and educated, and repairs are always one-and-done - because they get it right every time. Josh, Jon, and Justin are a power trio there and have worked magic over the years. My vehicle is now under extended warranty, and coverage can be tricky and sometimes lengthy to get all approvals. They took my car in while the approvals were in process and didn't make me wait for reimbursement to take it home, and ensured ALL major repairs were completed prior to expiration of extended coverage. Every time I am there, they go above and beyond to take care of me. A little kindness goes a long way in this world - Nothing is ever perfect - sometimes there are parts delays or warranty negotiations, etc. With this crew, I just give them my patience and trust. They have proven consistently that they will resolve every issue that arises. That trust builds respect and friendship over time (I feel like I'm, walking into the "Cheers" bar every time I show up). Give these guys your trust. You'll be rewarded with lifelong, pain-free, worry-free service.
